For Sale: Vintage 1971 Caroche model Club Car golf cart, 36 volt electric, Serial #K1867A. The Caroche model was made for 10 years from 1970 to 1980; they had hydraulic brakes.
The cart was disassembled when I purchased it, so I never saw it run; it is not running at this time, although it appears all the electric controls are there less the batteries. I did a check of the electric motor and it runs forward and reverse.

I made the cart street legal with all new parts. It has a new master cylinder and new wheel cylinders and all new brake lines. I installed a new steering wheel and hub, new license plate bracket with LED light, LED head lights, tail lights and turn signal lights with new turn signal control, and a new hydraulic switch for the stop lights, new horn switch with a used horn. New volt meter in the dash, new fuse block, new on/off switch, new control switch. I made a door for the glove box in the dash with a lock. There is a new backup alarm but it is not wired in yet. I ran many extra wires for future use.

Because the cart is not running I haven't been able to check out the brakes.

Both front and rear fiberglass bodies can be removed without disconnecting the wires from the lights as I have automotive-type electrical disconnect plugs installed.

The cart has been greased and the front wheel bearings were cleaned and re-packed with grease.

The fiberglass bodies have been gone over and any damage repaired and primed and painted a satin blue color.

I have the 36 volt charger and a manual that goes with it.
